When we
arrived in Zagora, in the heart of the Draa valley, we were immediately
wrapped in a Desert storm, tearing through palms, clothes and eyes.
The sand was taking over..
A short walk in the streets sent me running back to the hotel, eyes crying in pain. I prayed for it not to be the eye tumors Leo described:

After
the sand storm, life took its normal course again, drawing hundreds
of tourists to the Valley's most famed spot: The "52 days to Timbuktu"
sign post. The hottest piece of real estate in town, as hundreds of
hotels, tour operators and internet cafes have added their sign post
right next to it!
