In 1468, the Infant Don Fernando, sent a great fleet and many people
against this town, taking it and destroying it. He came home to his
kingdom with great victory and honor." (Duarte, 240)
This
brief, unemotional account contrasts greatly with
Leo's more passionate account of the same battle!
